Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is easy [to bear] and My burden is light.” Amplified
Jesus says to come to Him and learn the truth about life and how it is supposed to be lived. We are to cast every heavy thought, every heavy burden, everything that would try to weigh us down upon Him. Jesus’ way is an easier way to live; for His way is the way of peace and joy. If you are struggling with decisions in life, if you are on the path that does not lead to joy, then consider Jesus’ way. There is rest in Him. He will not burden us down with a lot of religious nonsense, life rituals that are more burdensome than good. Live life as He intended, light and easy, full of joy and peace. Give it all to Jesus. Learn of Him, let His way be your way to live. Learn how to live peaceably through Him. Come to Him, He is waiting on you! Be Blessed.
