As we prepare for the Christmas Holiday let us not lose sight of what this celebration is really all about. We are celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am not too sure how our focus has moved so far away from that, but as we look around at all of the commercialism of this Holiday, it surely has. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. He came as a sacrifice for our sins so that we can have eternal life with Him. Jesus is the reason why we are celebrating Christmas. Let us teach our children what the true meaning of this Holiday is all about. As you prepare for all of the festivities of this Christmas Season, let us make sure that we don’t lose sight of that.
